Gladys with her child at the Lukome Center in Gulu, Uganda

"At Imvepi [Refugee Settlement], I brewed alcohol to make money just to feed my family. . . ChildVoice has helped me to change my life. I’ve learned many skills, and I can now take care of myself. . . I went back to Imvepi and started my restaurant. Yes, I’m proud of that!” - Gladys

Be a force for good in the lives of war-affected adolescent youth in Uganda and Nigeria. Your gift will help traumatized young people—and their children—get the counseling and skills training they need to build new lives for themselves by supporting our programs at the following:

  • the Lukome Center, our residential facility serving Ugandan, South Sudanese, and Congolese girls in Uganda;

  • Girl Empowerment Centers serving South Sudanese and Congolese refugee girls at Imvepi Refugee Settlement in Uganda;

  • Youth Empowerment Centers serving Nigerian girls and boys at IDP camps in northern Nigeria.

Ongoing financial support is critical for ChildVoice to keep our programs running. If you aren't already making ongoing donations, please consider becoming a monthly donor. To learn more, click here.
